Preset controller

The control of complex systems with many parameters is often hard. Tuning each parameter individually takes much time and expertise, just selecting presets does not offer enough flexibility. The preset controller is a novel interaction widget that aims at providing an easy way to control many parameters simultaneously. It is based on the interpolation of a number of presets. The user can control the weights by moving icons that represent the presets in a rectangular area.

Demonstration of the preset controller for FM-synthesizer.

Create a local directory, say C:\pcs
Download the following files (right-click) and save them in C:\pcs. The file instr.txt contains preset-instruments and is required to run the demo.

To run the demo, click on Start, next on run, enter C:\pcs\pcs.exe and press Enter
